Pro rules and titles

To achieve the following pro titles, at least a half of your acts, rounded downwards, must be assassinations or kills. For example, with two assassinations/kills and three arrests you are entitled to the title of a bachelor (2,5 murders -> 2 murders). Take note of the distinction between a murder and a kill: a kill is due to self-defense, while a murder is an assassination of your target.

Candidate of Carnage (CC)

  • Requirements:
    • 5 murders, kills or arrests in tournaments
  • Limitations:
    • 50% korkeampi todennäköisyys joutua etsintäkuulutetuksi (silminnäkijä, sivullinen, sääntörike, aikaraja, todistaja).

Master of Murder (MM)

    • 10 murders, kills or arrests in tournaments
    • Has participated as an umpire in at least one tournament (including team or organization tournaments)

    • Murders at the target's home door are forbidden*
    • When executing more than one assassination, if the average value of the points without reports is less than 10, s/he can become wanted

Doctor of Doom (DD)

    • 20 murders, kills or arrests in tournaments
    • Has participated as an umpire in at least five tournaments, two of which as a main umpire (including team or organization tournaments and the board transfer weeks)
    • The title is applied for, it is not granted automatically (saves the umpires from the calculation)
  • Limitations:
    • All the aforementioned limitations of lower titles

*The umpires may grant exceptions, if the target is extremely hard to catch or if the plan is just that beautiful.

The main purpose of the rules is even out the odds between new recruits and veterans and direct the most experienced players to strive for style instead of numbers.

Primarily the titles are granted annually in The Sacrificial Celebration. The titles are not granted during a tournament. The rules for a single player do not change during the game, even if he had met the requirements of a title during the tournament.

Titles are visible in Murhamaster.

For the assassination of a titled player, a point is awarded for each lower level the murderer is on in respect to the victim. For example, a player without a title -> LL = 3 points, BB -> MM = one point and so on.

The same person may acquire only four knives as a prize from the tournaments, meaning that the purchase of the fifth prize knife is either funded by the assassin him/herself or it may be skipped, if s/he so chooses. This is to ensure that all knife prizes bought by the players' own money (participation fee) are not hoarded by the same players again and again.
